Asian stocks were down on Monday morning with the drop in global crude oil prices. The MSCI Asia Pacific declined 0.4 percent to 412.76 in Hong Kong. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.8 percent with Chinese policy makers loosening controls in the stock market.
